Not listed in Tannhof and Botte. First century of German language printing in the United States. This was commissioned by the publisher, Baisch, from a German publisher, probably Stock in Marburg, during Baisch's trip to Germany in 1774. He ordered a number of copies of both the Lutheran and Reformed Marburg hymnal from the printer but with the Philadelphia imprint and him as publisher.
